770 Kindergarten through 4th grade students learned how to "Name it to Tame it" in the last two weeks. When we understand our feelings we can shift to an emotion that has the right amount of energy and the right amount of joy so we are better learners and better people. We used the characters on the mood meters to expand our emotional vocabulary and the three breathing tools are just a few ways we know how to regulate our feelings.

Ever wonder what staff do on Professional Development days? High school teachers spent the morning learning about dyslexia, including how to support students with reading difficulties in their classrooms. Many thanks to Danielle Hakeman with Central Rivers AEA for sharing her expertise to help us better support students at W-SR!
