North Ridge students 'wrapped up' the December Reading Challenge in a big way - all participants who returned their challenge received a small prize. These 5 students received the grand prize for their grade!

Minute to Win it Games were the highlight of Mrs. McCaslin's class party! Such a fun way to celebrate the holiday season!

We had a special guest stop by North Ridge today to check in with Coach Twait. Thank you to UNI Head Football Coach-Todd Stepsis for stopping by North Ridge! It is safe to say the 2nd grade gym class students were super pumped! It was great to get a picture of coach by our Go-Hawk mascot that we partnered with UNI to create! #Go Go-Hawks #Go Panthers!!!

Our art students are hard at work creating an oil-pastel/chalk based Christmas themed painting. Great work everyone!

Our third graders put their creativity and problems-solving skills to the test as they explored the world of engineering through a hands-on paper bridge challenge. Using only paper and their imaginations, students worked together to design and construct bridges, strong enough to hold a whole bunch of pennies.

4th graders discovered the mechanism by which their muscles control their bones to move their bodies. They the constructed a model of a human finger that actually moves!





Happy 67th day of school from Mrs. McCaslin's class! Today we wrote: 67 words, our numbers to 67, and what we would do with $67. It was a fun day!
