The Waverly-Shell Rock Community School District is excited to announce the start of its expanded preschool program, which will begin on Tuesday, September 3. For the first time, preschool classes will be offered at both the Waverly and Shell Rock sites, providing greater access and convenience for families throughout the district.
The Waverly preschool site will welcome 31 young learners, while the Shell Rock site has 12 students registered for the upcoming school year. Both locations offer flexible programming options, including a full-day program and a half-day morning option, to better meet the needs of families.
"We are so excited to offer programs in both Waverly and Shell Rock," said Katie Devereaux, W-SR Preschool Director. "This is a great opportunity for the children and families of our district, and we have room to grow!"
The Waverly location will be staffed by 10 dedicated professionals, ensuring a high-quality and supportive learning environment. The Shell Rock site will have a team of three staff members who are equally committed to fostering a positive and enriching experience for all preschoolers.
This expansion marks an important milestone for the Waverly-Shell Rock Community School District, as it continues to prioritize early childhood education and provide accessible, high-quality preschool programs for its youngest learners in both communities.
