Members of our awesome North Ridge staff took part in a bus trip with other Cedar Valley educators through the Leader Valley in Cedar Falls. The team wen to the Des Moines area to visit 4 incredible Leader in Me schools doing great things, including 2 elementary and 2 middle schools. The team had a great day and is excited to bring back their learning to North Ridge to benefit our students, staff, and families through our Leader In Me program. Thank you to Music Teacher-Rachael Nelson, Art Teacher-Jess Meier, 1st Grade Teacher-Christy Amundson, and Teacher Associate-Judy Pentecost for attending!

🍿✨ It was an exciting day of learning for our 3rd graders! Students explored the fun science and facts behind popcorn thanks to a wonderful partnership with WSR Middle School FCCLA students and Iowa State University Extension. Hands-on learning, teamwork, and tasty fun — what could be better? 🌽👏

We have 32 different students who applied to be on our Assembly Leadership Team at North Ridge and will lead all of our leadership assemblies for the year. Congrats to this group of outstanding Go-Hawk Leaders who will be hard at work practicing and preparing to lead our upcoming Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th. This group of 8 students learned today they had been hired by the events team to lead this awesome event for our Veterans. Way to go Go-Hawks!!!
