Ms. Schmidt's Life Skills class enjoyed their first cooking endeavor. With a base of store-bought sauce, they added a variety of peppers, onions, and mushrooms which enabled them to learn a variety of chopping techniques in the process. In addition to the tasks of browning hamburger and preparing garlic bread, the class learned that watching a pot of water boil does indeed take forever. Delicious meal and great fun was enjoyed by all.

🎁 Holiday Shoppe Donations Needed! 🎁 Help us make the holiday season special for our students! We're looking for gently used or new items to stock our Holiday Shoppe, where students can “buy” gifts for loved ones using tickets they’ve earned through hard work and positive choices. Thanksgiving was celebrated in true Lied Center style! 🎉 Mr. Hill and Ms. Cook joined the fun by serving pumpkin pie to our students, and we wrapped up the month with our November Celebration!
