🌟 Buddy Time! 🌟
Mrs. Buttjer’s third graders met their first grade buddies from Mrs. Amundson’s class for the very first time today! The students had a wonderful time playing games, reading together, and coloring side by side. 💕📚🎨 We can’t wait to see all the fun and learning that will come from these new friendships this year!

We had a great day at North Ridge highlighted by a group of 4th grade students hosting our 1st ever student led leadership assembly. The students did a great job teaching our school about Habit 1-Be Proactive. The students were outstanding! We also recognized a big group of Student of the Month Go-Hawk Leaders from all classrooms for showing great leadership and character this past month. It was a Great day to be a Go-Hawk at North Ridge!!!!

🍎🥦 Our third graders had a blast becoming food scientists today! Students worked in pairs to investigate a variety of fruits and vegetables—sorting, classifying, and debating whether each item is considered a “science fruit” or a “science vegetable.” 🥒🍊

On National Custodian Day, we want to thank Mr. Dylan (our day custodian), and one of our MVP's at North Ridge! We also want to thank our night custodians (Randall and Cathy) for the hard work all three of them do keeping our school looking outstanding and being great team members! They each do so much to help the students and staff at North Ridge. Thank you to our outstanding parent group for decorating the floor cleaning machine like the Iowa State Football Helmet Cart that was brought back to gameday this year in Ames. We are now ready for W-SR Homecoming Week!!! Have a great day Dylan, Cathy, and Randall!!!
