Sunshine, splashes of water, and sizzling hot dogs — the excitement just keeps growing on Field Day! Huge shoutout to Ehren Marks for grilling a whopping 220 hot dogs and keeping everyone fueled for fun! Can’t wait to share more moments from Field Day!

This cycle in the library, students had a blast exploring with Indi robots. It’s exciting to see their thinking and teamwork in action as they tackle challenges and freely explore with the robots. What a fantastic way to wrap up the year!

🌟 Prairie West 3rd Grade Field Trip Fun! 🌟
Our 3rd graders had an amazing spring full of hands-on learning adventures! 🚌✨
In April, we spent a week at Museum School in Waterloo, exploring the Grout Museum, the Imaginarium, and the Russell House. From learning about Black history and immigration to discovering how assembly lines worked and what life was like in one-room schoolhouses, our social studies and science lessons came to life in the most exciting ways! 🏛️🔬📚

In May, we wrapped up the year with a trip to Rockford Fossil & Prairie Park Preserve, where students became junior paleontologists! They searched for fossils, hiked the prairie, studied pond ecosystems, and enjoyed outdoor nature games. 🦴🌾🐸

We're so proud of our curious, engaged learners and grateful for these unforgettable learning experiences!
Today our kindergarteners celebrated the end of a fantastic year with their VIPs—and they’re officially ready for first grade!

Reeled in smiles and memories! Our awesome kindergarten fishing trip today was a splash-tastic success!

Post 2 - Parents,
Please take a moment to check the items in our Lost and Found. If anything belongs to your child, encourage them to pick it up from the Lost and Found shelves. You are also welcome to stop by before or after school to look through the items yourself.
Reminder: There are only 7 days left to claim these items—please do so as soon as possible!

The turnout was amazing, and it's all thanks to the planning/execution that this group (+ a few not pictured) did. They show up and show out for our students, families, and staff in so many ways throughout the year. We are grateful for all they do!
Keep an eye on our page later today for more pictures from last night's event! It was SO much fun!
